YES! I'm alive! Freak out!
Yes, Wally, I know I owe you an ass kicking in TMW! Let me make sure I don't flunk out of college due to overly-complicated projects before I give you whatfor :P
Yes, folks, this has certainly been a year of crazy transitions, from philosophical graphic artists to game designers with a love of Hello Kitty underwears (sorry, what?) I speak of college, my friends, that magical place beyond the gray gradient of public schools and shallow kids!
Where to begin? I love th…

For as long as I can remember I have been in the education system.
From when i was 6 and throwing plastic blocks at people and learning how to spell my name.
To now, eighteen years old. Confident in my abilities and invested with all the experience of my teachers and mentors.
I am leaving school.
That's it. I'm not enrolled anymore.
Not to say I have stopped learning. I will continue learning forever.
I just am not being told how anymore. I am on my own. No assignments, coursework, prerequisit…

Yep! Me and Jessie have collabed on the new story (name still undetermined XD), which was kinda sporadic. I was showing her bits of writing and she jumped up and down, saying "oo, can I draw this and that!?" I like what she's coming out with, and I'm curious to see how this will evolve :P So far, she's done a few drawings of the main characters, Eddy and Jekrin (and one of Joy):

Jekrin (ori…

I know its not much of a jazz in some other parts of the world, but in the state my country's in, almost anything's possible when you mix fear and verbal wordplay. My mother sent me this link some time ago:
http://www.rhrealitycheck.org/blog/2008/07/15/hhs-moves-define-contraception-abortion
I'm honestly frightened if politicians consider what HHS has to say on the whole deal of "abortive" contraception. My belief is this- I value life, I wouldn't kill unless it threatened my own safety. But i…

Movie: Journey to the Center of the Earth
Rating: Meh
I seriously was hoping for a little bit better. I always prefer a Brendan Frazer film (I especially loved Tarzan and The Mummy Returns) and was thrilled to see he came back onto the map of Hollywood films.
I think, honestly, this was a Bill Movie. (Description: A Bill Movie is a movie where a good actor plays in a crappy film, earning enough to pay for things, such as his various homes, college tuition, rent, etc).
The title…

Yes! I live! So where do I begin? June was one word- chaos. The APs were FINALLY done, but of course, loomed my author presentation. On top opf that, I was doing H.G. Wells in a three piece suit and the June weather was mercilessly humiod x.x; Somehow I survived.
So from there, at the last moment, I decided I wanted to go to Prom XD I had whined and moaned cuz I didn't want to look stupid, or feel embarressed that I had no date or friends to go with and have to deal with She Who Must Not Be Nam…

[Crossposted from dA]
Actually, perhaps more of a collaboration, but these days trying to get someone to write an honest-to-goodness, analog letter is definitely an experiment. ;-)
So here it is;
Point 1
I really like to write with pen or pencil on paper. I love the feel and the sound and the archaic joy of seeing a real thing (representing real thoughts) that exists now, but that did not exist just a few minutes ago. Add to this a particular interest in stories and we have the start o…

Hey there, Comrades.
Quick note to mention that episode 3 of the show has been posted. This one is a walk through of a hotel I stayed in over in Helsinki last year. Very cool place. It's over at the main
DS2 Web Journal or on Blip if you want to see the least-compressed
QT version.
More soon,

Today was the wake for my great grandmother. It started off like any normal day- go in, be ten minutes late for AP Lit but not miss anything (although it was rather random playing Pictionary in class). When I left school to go to LIHSA (my art school), my pop pulls up and said the wake was moved to today. So we rush back home, I appear slightly more female and off we go. We stop at a favorite italian hotspot since none of us ate, and we get to the wake fifteen minutes late (my mother was frettin…

Alright, alright. I'll just on the band wagon with the blogging...for now! I'm always terrible at remembering to keep up with these things. Its not like I really have much else to do...
Anyways, BLAH! I feel like crap. I don't even know why, there's no real reason for it. I'm not depressed, but it took me, no lie, 6 hours to drag my sloth-like self out of bed this morning. I hate cold weather! And I hate not having anything to do! Seriously, all I've been doing is watching TV and anime for the…

My form of keeping blogs or journals is usually cassettes (I lost my journal somewhere XD) I always mentioned the date, year and time I recorded and time I ended. I guess because I want my voice to carry on long after I'm gone, so I can let the future worlds know who I was, what I was thinking at the time, how I felt. Perhaps the most intimate details of my life will be obligatory teenage remarks for the archaeologist who uncovers my house centuries from now.
Macabre aside (as I have thought to…

I never know what to blog when I blog so...I'll just chat a bit here.
I used to keep a journal when I was a kid. More like, a diary. I used to address my diary by starting out "Dear Kate". Why Kate, I'm not sure. I have an aunt named Kate, but it certainly wasn't named after her. It was just one of my (many) weird little quirks. And what's even more fun is when you meet people with similarly strange quirks, like naming diaries. Even stranger, when they use the same name. 0.o; I won't go about n…

Taking a pseudo break from the madness of dA for a little bit, I decided to pop by here and either upload something or...see how the blog thingy worked in this end of the woods.
I'm not too sure if there is a better way to imbed video, but I'm going to try a few things before I upload anything really dramatic.
The story of this video is:
This is the ever-annoying, always under-construction Chesapeake Bay Bridge. (Note: Not the Bay Bridge Tunnel) I was so, so bored driving from Bethany Beach D…

So, we come to the end of the Impromptu Road Trip. Great fun, no casualties; what more could you ask for.
We had a little extra footage that we weren't able to post while we were on the road, so here's one to round it out. On Day 2, after the great time we had at the
Hunter Museum of American Art, we sauntered just a little way up the hill to a beautiful enclave of trendy restaurants and quaint boutiques. The only things that saves this area from being…
